This quote from one of my favorite science fiction writers, Marie Lu, was my biggest inspiration for starting the "Fictional Theories" blog. My other biggest source of inspiration was my family… Whenever we watched science fiction or a fantasy series/movie, we would think for a long time about how the fictional elements that we saw could be real. When I started to research the questions arising from these conversations that have become our routine, I believed that everything, no matter how fictional or even fantastic, could one day turn into reality with the developments in science and technology, and this excited me. Finally, I decided to write down my theories and research these fictional elements.

In this blog, I try to support the idea that science fiction is fiction until its reality is proven, by researching the facts that play a role in the formation of fiction and producing theories on how it can be developed, and by giving examples from real research and experiments that already exist in the scientific world.
